I Directed and shot this film alongside the participants predominantly as a sole filmmaker using a camera, tripod and some wireless microphones.
Tír Gan Teanga, Tír gan Anam, is a co-created, community-based 13-minute auto-ethnographic short film that explores the West Belfast Gaeltacht through the lens of a documentary filmmaker from Gweedore in the Donegal Gaeltacht. Developed over summer 2025 in collaboration with the Beechmount Residential Collective (BRC) and Ionad Uibh Eacach, this project reflects my commitment to culturally immersive storytelling and community engagement.
